| Since my summer newsletter our nation has been rocked by a financial crisis that cuts to the very core of our economic system. American capitalism was the envy of the world. Unfortunately, capitalism as we once knew it is dead. Our system used to be based on risk and reward. With the government bailout of Wall Street, risk has been taken out of the equation. The reward does not go to the American taxpayer, but to foreign governments - namely China - who will profit from our large amounts of new debt for generations to come. |
