The Kid's Club section of my website was developed to give students in Idaho an opportunity to learn about our government and have fun at the same time. Instead of a static, full-blown website, the Kid's Club will change and be updated regularly. New resources and information will be added to inspire kids to get online and explore the resources available. In tandem with the Kid's Club, I will make "lesson plans" available to accompany the lessons. It is my hope that these plans will help you, as someone responsible for the education and enlightenment of children, to assist our youth in getting the most out of what the Kid's Club has to offer. The plans will parallel the information available online in the Kid's Club section and will provide additional resources that you may choose to use to enhance your children's experience. Use the links in the box on the left side of your screen to access the plan for each lesson. The effectiveness of the Kid's Club depends on feedback from those using it. I hope you will take a moment to send me an email if you have any questions or suggestions as to how the site can be made better. |
