| On June 27, the Perri family
received a special visit from the 2007 and 2004 Red Sox World Series
trophies. Eleven-year-old Ross Perri was diagnosed with leukemia
late last year and recently underwent a bone marrow transplant. Ross
and his brother Anthony are both big fans of the Lake Monsters and
Red Sox and are unable to attend a game because of Ross's weakened
immune system. Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), the Red Sox and the
Lake Monsters decided to bring the trophies to the Perri's home in
Jericho. Back row, from left to right, Tony Perri, Marcelle
Leahy, Sen. Leahy, Tammy Perri, Anthony Perri. Front row, left to
right, Champ and Ross Perri. |

confirmations of G. Murray Snow for the District of Arizona and
William Lawrence for the Southern District of Indiana. While
the Senate confirmed a total of five judges this week, Leahy spoke
about many of the other concerns Americans are facing today.
