Brumidi Sketch Unveiled

Signing of the First Treaty of Peace with Great Britain

In a ceremony on March 15, 2005, the Office of Senate Curator unveiled the newest addition to the U.S. Senate Collection.  Lost for over a century, the painting, by Italian artist Constantino Brumidi, was discovered at a Massachusetts antique shop in 2001.
