Majority Leader Reid said that, after leaders speak, the Senate will be in morning business for two hours and then will resume consideration of HR 3548 (unemployment insurance). There is a previous agreement to withdraw the substitute bill (Reid/Baucus Amend #2712) and other amendments. Vote at 12:15 pm on cloture on the bill (HR 3548).

At 11:50 the Senate resumed consideration of HR3548, Unemployment Insurance. By uc all pending amendments were withdrawn and the Reid/Baucus substitute amendment # 2712 was agreed to. At 12:15 pm the Senate will vote on a cloture motion to the bill. Senators Isakson and Reed spoke in favor of the legislation.
