Mr. Joe Donnelly, from the State of Indiana, called the Senate to order at 10 a.m., the Chaplain offered a prayer, and Mr. Donnelly led the Senate in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

H.R. 251 (Rep. Chaffetz): To direct the Secretary of the Interior to convey certain Federal features of the electric distribution system to the South Utah Valley Electric Service District, and for other purposes .

H.R. 254 (Rep. Chaffetz): To authorize the Secretary of the Interior to facilitate the development of hydroelectric power on the Diamond Fork System of the Central Utah Project.
