The Benefits of Commercial Space Launch for Foreign ICBM and Satellite Programs

The Subcommittee held a hearing to examine how a foreign country's satellite and ICBM programs could benefit from launching U.S. commercial satellites, and whether the administration's export control policy is adequate to prevent technology transfers that endanger America. Witnesses: Dr. William R. Graham, President, National Security Research, Inc.; Mr. John Pike, Director, Space Policy Project, Federation of American Scientists; Dr. William Schneider, Fellow, Hudson Institute.
