  • S. 471 - Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2005 - To amend the Public Health Service Act to provide for human embryonic stem cell research.

  • S. 472 - Anti-phishing Act of 2005 - To criminalize Internet scams involving fraudulently obtaining personal information, commonly known as phishing.

  • S. 478 - To designate the annex to the E. Barrett Prettyman Federal Building and United States Courthouse located at 333 Constitution Avenue Northwest in the District of Columbia as the `William B. Bryant Annex'.

  • S. 484 - To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow Federal civilian and military retirees to pay health insurance premiums on a pretax basis and to allow a deduction for TRICARE supplemental premiums.

  • S. 491 - Christopher Kangas Fallen Firefighter Apprentice Act - To amend the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 to expand the definition of firefighter to include apprentices and trainees, regardless of age or duty limitations.  

  • S.494 - Federal Employee Protection of Disclosures Act - A bill to amend chapter 23 of title 5, United States Code, to clarify the disclosures of information protected from prohibited personnel practices, require a statement in nondisclosure policies, forms, and agreements that such policies, forms, and agreements conform with certain disclosure protections, provide certain authority for the Special Counsel, and for other purposes.

  • S. 495 - Darfur Accountability Act of 2005 - To impose sanctions against perpetrators of crimes against humanity in Darfur, Sudan, and for other purposes.

  • S. 537 - Child Health Care Crisis Relief Act - A bill to increase the number of well-trained mental health service professionals (including those based in schools) providing clinical mental health care to children and adolescents, and for other purposes.

  • S. 548 - Voluntary Public Access and Wildlife Habitat Incentive Program Act of 2005 - To amend the Food Security Act of 1985 to encourage owners and operators of privately-held farm, ranch, and forest land to voluntarily make their land available for access by the public under programs administered by States and tribal governments.

  • S. 550 - Microbicide Development Act - To amend the Public Health Service Act with respect to facilitating the development of microbicides for preventing transmission of HIV and other diseases, and for other purposes.

  • S. 730 - Mercury Emission Act of 2005 - A bill to amend the Clean Air Act to establish requirements concerning the operation of fossil fuel-fired electric utility steam generating units, commercial and industrial boiler units, solid waste incineration units, medical waste incinerators, hazardous waste combustors, chlor-alkali plants, and Portland cement plants to reduce emissions of mercury to the environment, and for other purposes.

  • S. 757 - Breast Cancer and Environmental Research Act of 2005 - A bill to amend the Public Health Service Act to authorize the Director of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences to make grants for the development and operation of research centers regarding environmental factors that may be related to the etiology of breast cancer.

  • S. 938 - National Guard and Reserves Housing Equity Act of 2005 - To amend title 37, United States Code, to require that members of the National Guard and Reserve called or ordered to active duty for a period of more than 30 days receive a basic allowance for housing at the same rate as similarly situated members of the regular components of the uniformed services.

  • S. 945 - PROTECTION Act - To provide reliable officers, technology, education, community prosecutors, and training in our neighborhoods.

  • S. 968 - Federal Public Safety Officer Surviving Spouse Protection Act of 2005 - To amend chapters 83 and 84 of title 5, United States Code, to provide that spouses of Federal public safety officers who are killed in the line of duty, may remarry and continue to receive a survivor annuity, and for other purposes.

  • S. 981 - Reservists Pay Security Act of 2005 - To ensure that a Federal employee who takes leave without pay in order to perform service as a member of the uniformed services or member of the National Guard shall continue to receive pay in an amount which, when taken together with the pay and allowances such individual is receiving for such service, will be no less than the basic pay such individual would then be receiving if no interruption in employment had occurred.

  • S. 994 - Family Abduction Prevention Act of 2006 - A bill to authorize the Attorney General to make grants to improve the ability of State and local governments to prevent the abduction of children by family members, and for other purposes.

  • S. 1007 - Medicaid Formula Fairness Act of 2005 - To prevent a severe reduction in the Federal medical assistance percentage determined for a State for fiscal year 2006.

  • S. 1047 - Presidential $1 Coin Act of 2005 - A bill to require the Secretary of the Treasury to mint coins in commemoration of each of the Nation's past Presidents and their spouses, respectively to improve circulation of the $1 coin, to create a new bullion coin, and for other purposes.
