Chuck was admitted to Harvard University in 1967, where he first
became involved in politics, joining the College Democrats and working
on Eugene McCarthy's 1968 Presidential campaign. Chuck stayed at
Harvard for law school, graduating in the spring of 1974. Although
he was admitted to the New York Bar early the next year, he never
practiced law.
