The Senate will convene at 2 p.m. After Leaders' remarks, the Senate will be in Morning Business until 5 p.m., with the time equally divided. At 5 p.m., the Senate will begin up to 30 minutes of debate, equally divided, on these nominations: 1.) Executive Calendar #48 , Luis Felipe Restrepo to be a United States district court judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania; 2.) Executive Calendar #62, Kenneth John Gonzales to be a United States district court judge for the District of New Mexico. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote at about 5:30 p.m. on confirmation of these nominations. The Senate will then resume consideration of S. 744, the Immigration Bill. Pending to the Immigration Bill are: -- Amendment #1183 (Leahy) on performing arts visas; -- Amendment #1197 (Thune) on fencing; -- Amendment #1222 (Landrieu) on adoption; -- Amendment #1198 (Tester) on tribal officials; -- Amendment #1228 (Vitter) on the temporary status system, US-Visit.
