The Senate will convene at 2 p.m. and proceed after leader remarks to Morning Business for one hour. At 3 p.m., the Senate will proceed to consideration of S. 954, the farm bill. At 5 p.m., the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider the following nominations, with 30 minutes of debate equally divided: -- Executive Calendar #45, Sheri Polster Chappell to be a United States District Court Judge for the Middle District of Florida; -- Executive Calendar #46, Michael J. McShane to be a United States District Court Judge for the District of Oregon. The Senate will proceed to votes on these nominations upon the use of yielding back of time, at approximately 5:30 p.m. At a time to be determined, the Senate will begin consideration of Executive Calendar #11, the nomination of Mark A. Barnett of Virginia, and Executive Calendar #12, the nomination of Claire Kelly of New York, both to be Judges of the U.S. Court of International Trade.
