The Senate will convene at 9:30a.m. Following leaders' remarks, the Senate will be in Morning Business for one hour, with senators pemitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each. At 10:30 a.m., the Senate will conduct two votes: -- Cloture on Executive Calendar #95, the nomination of Srikanth Srinivasan to be a United States Circuit Court Judge for the Circuit of the District of Columbia; -- The Sanders Amendment #965 (genetically engineered ingredients) to S. 954, the farm bill. Sixty votes are required for passage. Also pending to the farm bill is Amendment #998 Stabenow (for Leahy), on rural gigabit Internet programs. At a time to be determined, the Senate will begin consideration of Executive Calendar #11, Mark A. Barnett of Virginia, and Executive Calendar #12, Claire R. Kelly of New York, both to be judges of the U.S. Court of International Trade, for up to 30 minutes of debate, equally divided. Upon the use or yielding back of debate time, the Senate will proceed to confirmation votes on these nominations.
