The Senate will convene at 9:30a.m. Following leaders' remarks, the Senate will be in Morning Business for one hour, with senators pemitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each. At 10:30 a.m., the Senate will conduct two votes: -- Cloture on Executive Calendar #95, the nomination of Srikanth Srinivasan to be a United States Circuit Court Judge for the Circuit of the District of Columbia; -- The Sanders Amendment #965 (genetically engineered ingredients) to S. 954, the farm bill. Sixty votes are required for passage. Also pending to the farm bill is Amendment #998 Stabenow (for Leahy), on rural gigabit Internet programs. At a time to be determined, the Senate will begin consideration of Executive Calendar #11, Mark A. Barnett of Virginia, and Executive Calendar #12, Claire R. Kelly of New York, both to be judges of the U.S. Court of International Trade, for up to 30 minutes of debate, equally divided.
