Our Energy Crisis
In my Spring Newsletter, I highlighted how frustrating it was to watch a Middle Eastern oil cartel control the nation’s energy supply. Unfortunately, in the three intervening months Congress has done nothing to alleviate our energy crisis. Time and again the other side of the aisle blocked attempts to bring to the Senate floor a comprehensive energy plan that included more domestic oil drilling. According to press reports, a leading Senate Democrat would rather wait until after the general election to address our energy crisis. This is why Washington is broken.
