The Office of Senator Charles E. Schumer provides tourist information to constituents planning trips to the Washington, DC area. In addition, we can also help arrange tours of the White House, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bureau of Engraving and Printing, U.S. Capitol and Library of Congress. Please be advised that tickets are very limited and we request at least 3 months notice for tickets for September-February. We also will take requests for March-May tickets up to 6 months in advance. .
Congressional tours of the White House, the Capitol, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing are no longer available for the months of September, October and November.

United States Senate Visitors may obtain gallery passes from Senator Schumer's office. The Capitol Guide Service conducts free guided tours of the Capitol Monday through Saturday throughout the year. During the non-peak visitor season (September through February) tours are offered every 30 minutes, from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. During the peak visitor season (March through August), tours are offered every 30 minutes, from 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. For a virtual tour of the Senate, click here. United States Supreme Court Public tours are offered Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., every half hour. White House Public tours are offered Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. During non-peak tour seasons (post-Labor Day through Memorial Day), tickets will no longer be used for the public, self-guided tours. Visitors simply line up at the southeast gate and enter on a first-come, first serve basis.
