  • This leather-bound commemorative book, together with a crystal and pewter bowl, was presented to attendees of the Inaugural Luncheon held in National Statuary Hall as part of the 55th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies. The portfolio contains two paper booklets. The first booklet includes images marking the centennial of Theodore Roosevelt's inauguration in 1905 and the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition reaching the Pacific Ocean in 1805. The second booklet contains the program for the 2005 Inaugural Luncheon; the luncheon menu; an essay about the 2005 inaugural theme, "A Vision for America"; and a chronology of presidential inaugurations.
