Object Description
This engraved wood gift box—together with a brass compass and leather pouch and the 2020 Congressional holiday ornament—was presented in lieu of traditional Inaugural Luncheon gifts as part of the 59th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies. The Inaugural Luncheon was not held in 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The wood box, designed and made by Ortmann Woodcraft of Patton, Missouri, is crafted from walnut. The lid is engraved with the Great Seal of the United States.
