A unanimous-consent agreement was reached providing that notwithstanding Rule XXII, that it be in order to file cloture on McConnell (for Shelby) Amendment No. 5 and Schumer Amendment No. 6 during the Thursday, January 24, 2019 session of the Senate, and that cloture motions filed on these amendments during Thursday's session of the Senate, be treated as if they were filed during Tuesday, January 22, 2019 session of the Senate, and ripen at 2:30 p.m., on Thursday, January 24, 2019, in the order filed (See Congressional Record for January 22, 2019 pages S326 and D65).
  2.
