Mr. George S. Helmy, from the State of New Jersey, called the Senate to order at 10 a.m., the His Grace Bishop David, Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate Diocese of New York & New England in Chestnut Ridge, New York offered a prayer, and Mr. Helmy led the Senate in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
