Mrs. Deb Fischer, from the State of Nebraska, called the Senate to order at 12:30 p.m., the Pastor Bill Ewing of Christian Life Ministries, Rapid City, South Dakota offered a prayer, and Mrs. Fischer led the Senate in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
