Mrs. Deb Fischer, from the State of Nebraska, called the Senate to order at 12 noon, the Chaplain offered a prayer, and Mrs. Fischer led the Senate in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

H.R. 6395 (Rep. Smith): To authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2021 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes.

S. 3985 (Sen. Scott, of SC): A bill to improve and reform policing practices, accountability, and transparency.
-- Motion to proceed to consideration of measure made in Senate.
